POSITION SUMMARY
Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a strong leader and sharp technical mind to join our team as Manager of Equipment Maintenance EPI group. This position is responsible for managing the EPI equipment team, which includes equipment engineers, equipment technicians, and contracted field service engineers, supporting 24/7 coverage and all areas of the Fab. Drives continuous improvement in tool availability, cost control, and other department metrics
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Provide a safe and positive work environment for all Jireh employees to engage in.
- Assign personnel and monitor flow of work ensuring production schedules are met within established quality and cost objectives.
- Guide team members on manufacturing priorities and balance line needs to other departments within the entire factory process.
- Incorporate priorities between manufacturing team, engineering, and equipment support staff. Lead team members on consistent safety, quality, cost effective output, and process improvement activities.
- Develop and motivate a dynamic work force through effective communications and positive role modeling.
- Administer company policies that directly affect assigned reports.
- Manage resources and operational activities providing team support and direction.
- Drive continuous improvements in employee/team development, safety, quality, and cost control.
- Be accountable to meeting planned metrics. Track and report out daily on yield and output results to plan.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Minimum Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business.
- 8-10 years of maintenance experience on Epi equipment (ASM EPSILON 2000/ LPE PE3061D / AMAT 7700 EPITAXY), or relevant semiconductor equipment.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Strong technical capability and experience at intermediate/advance level. Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability at managing an area. Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient at MS Office Applications
- Ability to support 24-hour operation.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
