The Club at Las Campanas is hiring certified Lifeguards for the May–September 2026 pool season. This seasonal position is responsible for ensuring the safety of members and guests in our resort-style pool at the Fitness, Tennis & Spa facility. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, customer-service oriented, and certified in Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor pool area and swimmers to ensure safety at all times

Enforce pool rules and health regulations with professionalism and diplomacy

Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies

Report all incidents and safety concerns to management

Monitor pool chemicals and bather capacity

Perform opening and closing pool duties

Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary pool deck environment

Greet members and guests and provide excellent customer service

Stock pool linens and assist with light laundry as needed

Monitor pool furniture, toys, and deck amenities

Communicate maintenance or safety issues to Spa Management

Remain in proper uniform and at assigned station during scheduled shifts

No cell phone use while on duty
Required Certifications

Current Lifeguard Certification

CPR Certification

AED Certification

Basic First Aid Certification
(Certifications must be current and valid through the 2026 season.)
Qualifications

Previous lifeguard, pool attendant, or aquatic safety experience preferred

Strong surveillance and emergency response skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods

Professional, reliable, and punctual

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to work outdoors in direct sun
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for prolonged periods in outdoor conditions

Ability to bend, stoop, and move freely around pool deck

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
