At Edina Country Club, we are seeking energetic, reliable individuals who enjoy working outdoors and being part of the game of golf. Bagroom Attendants play an important role in supporting daily golf operations and creating a welcoming experience for members and guests. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced golf environment.
As an added benefit, employees may have opportunities to utilize the golf facilities when available and at the discretion of the Golf Professional staff.
Position Overview
The Bagroom Attendant supports daily golf operations by assisting members and guests and maintaining golf facilities. Responsibilities include greeting members, handling and storing golf bags, preparing and staging golf carts, maintaining the driving range and practice areas, and ensuring the bag room and cart barn remain clean and organized. This position plays an important role in providing a high level of service while supporting an efficient and well-maintained golf operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests as they arrive at the club
- Assist with unloading, organizing, and storing golf bags in the bag room
- Clean golf clubs for members after their rounds
- Prepare and stage golf carts for daily play
- Set up and maintain the driving range and practice areas
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the bag room, cart barn, and practice facilities
- Provide friendly and professional service to members and guests
- Support the golf staff with daily operational needs
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in summer weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry golf bags (up to approximately 40 lbs)
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of golf or prior golf course experience (preferred)
