Job Overview:
A vital member of the surgical team, this role operates under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, collaborating closely with the surgeon and RN to provide patient care and assume relevant responsibilities before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Certified Surgical Technician (mandatory)
- NBSTSA Certification (mandatory)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association (mandatory)
Scheduling Requirements:
- 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Full Time
- Alternating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
