This well known and popular Uptown Dallas Law Firm is looking for a dedicated Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team in Dallas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at managing administrative and legal tasks efficiently. The Legal Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with case management, document preparation, and client relations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation assistant support to attorneys, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and briefs for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and maintain case deadlines, including docketing and calendaring key dates.
• File legal documents with state and federal courts, adhering to filing procedures and deadlines.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic document management systems for cases.
• Process client billing, ensuring timeliness and accuracy while addressing any discrepancies.
• Conduct research and respond to attorney and client inquiries promptly.
• Enter attorney time and ensure timesheets are reviewed, revised, and finalized appropriately.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense reports and reimbursement requests.
• Prepare conflict checks, engagement letters, and conflict waivers while assisting with new client file setups.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant preferably from a law firm
• Proficiency in calendar management and tracking deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of e-filing processes and court filing requirements.
• Experience handling commercial and complex business litigation matters.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing legal documents and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
