Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead key initiatives related to the implementation and optimization of multiple HR technology solutions. The organization has recently deployed a new enterprise HRIS platform and is preparing to roll out several additional modules to enhance functionality and efficiency.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned project leader to step into a dynamic and evolving environment, assess the current state of operations, and lead the successful execution of strategic HR system initiatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the discovery, planning, and execution phases of upcoming HR technology implementations.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Conduct a current-state assessment of existing HR systems and workflows to inform project strategy.
- Bring clarity and structure to complex, fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal functional teams, IT, software vendors, and third-party implementation partners.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, risk mitigation strategies, change controls, and comprehensive status reporting.
- Align project goals with the broader HR technology roadmap and digital transformation strategy.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field. Masters degree (MBA, MIS, etc.) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in project management. A focus on enterprise systems, HRIS, or ERP implementation is a plus.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and integrated systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Proven ability to bring structure to evolving or unstructured environments.
- Must be located within commuting distance of the corporate office and available to work onsite 23 days per week.
