Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership: Supervise and support retail staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service. Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing guidance. Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and team performance.
· Operational Oversight: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
· Customer Service: Promote a culture of excellent customer service. Professionally resolve customer complaints and issues. Foster a welcoming and friendly store environment.
· Store Presentation: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Implement visual merchandising plans.
· Visual Merchandising: Oversee the set-up and maintenance of visual displays to enhance the store's appearance and attract customers.
· Compliance: Ensure the store complies with company policies and procedures and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
· Experience: Previous experience in retail management or supervisory role.
· Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service abilities, and ability to analyze sales data.
· Education: A high school diploma or equivalent and a degree in business or retail management is a plus.
· Qualities: Ability to multitask, effective communication skills, proactive approach to problem-solving, and a customer-focused mindset.
· The ability to communicate in English is required; Spanish comprehension is helpful.
· Fundamental reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills are required.
· Must be available and willing to work various days/times, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
The San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians, a community of 1,500 residents near Valley Center, is of the Kumeyaay people. Indigenous to Southern California, the Kumeyaay-Ipai Band returned to settle in what is now San Diego and Imperial counties.
