As an Implementation Manager at Corcentric, you will join a driven, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will lead customer through solution implementation following our implementation methodology, with a focus on achieving business objectives, being ultimately responsible for successful outcomes. You will apply your technical, product and business knowledge to drive the implementation process and strengthen customer relationships.

Key areas of focus

  • Seamless transitioning of projects from the Sales Team
  • Establishing project goals tied to customer value creation
  • Creation and management of project plan and overall project governance
  • Providing project leadership to Solution Consultant, Integration, Change Management, and Advisory Teams
  • Driving solution adoption

We are currently hiring out of our Downers Grove, IL and Cherry Hill, NJ office locations.

This role may be eligible for voluntary work-from-home consideration. In order to be considered for this position, you should live within a commutable distance to one of these office locations, even if you plan to request work-from-home arrangement, as there may be times when in-person meetings, training sessions, social events, or similar activities are held onsite.

This position reports to the Associate Director, Professional Services and focuses on solution adoption and revenue attainment, creating value for our customers by successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. As an Implementation Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering projects on time and within budget to meet revenue attainment goals
  • Establishing project governance and reporting mechanisms
  • Setting communication cadence, leading program status meetings and customer executive steering committees
  • Managing associated tasks and budgets, driving internal and external resources, addressing issues, anticipated dependencies, and potential delay, as well as identifying and pursuing escalation paths to achieve resolution
  • Ensuring cross-functional coordination and communication to streamline customer efforts and avoid duplicate efforts, redundant or superfluous workflows
  • Updating methodologies, best practices, and processes to continuously improve customer experience quality and service delivery efficiencies
  • Achieving customer success and satisfaction by developing a thorough understanding of the customer’s business objectives, effectively communicating objectives internally, ensuring high quality deliverables, and prioritizing excellent customer relationship management
  • Utilizing customer insights to strengthen relationships by expanding our footprint of products and services
  • Challenging functional and technical teams to provide the best solution, not necessarily the easiest solution
  • Establishing and communicating best practices for project management, leading collaboration across practice area Project Managers

Requirements

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, along with experience as a Project Manager leading software solution implementations (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Experience with strategic sourcing, procurement, invoice automation or payment solutions within a procurement-focused or consulting organization
  • Experience consulting directly with customers, managing SaaS (Software as a Service) projects, with the ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously
  • Experience with web-based collaborative project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet’s, Monday, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to create solution delivery methodologies and governance models
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members towards professional development and career growth goals
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with C-Suite Executives professionally, leading executive committees and communicating escalations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and communicate strategy, as well as design and execute plans to achieve strategic customer goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Time-management, decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Initiative, drive, willingness to learn, and the ability to innovate
  • Comfortable experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • The ability to travel up to 50% to Corcentric offices and customer sites

It’s great if you also have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or similar
  • Source-to-Pay/Order-to-Cash experience

Your compensation package upon joining Corcentric will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to your relevant professional experience and qualifications: your certifications, training, and educational achievements; your geographic location; and Corcentric business and organizational requirements. It is expected that the annual salary for this full-time role will be between $80,000 - $105,000, plus eligibility for our annual discretionary bonus program.
