Job Description

A growing and reputable family law firm based in Atlanta is seeking a seasoned Senior Attorney to join its collaborative and client-focused practice. The Senior Family Law Attorney will manage a diverse caseload of high-conflict and high-asset family law matters from intake through resolution.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution
  • Handle complex/high-asset divorce and custody disputes
  • Conduct mediations, depositions, and evidentiary hearings
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
  • Provide strategic counsel and compassionate client communication
  • Appear regularly in court and manage litigation strategy from start to finish
  • Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with support staff


Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia (in good standing)
  • 5+ years of experience practicing family law
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
  • Experience with complex asset division and high-conflict custody matters preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines, caseloads, and client expectations effectively

  • The annual salary for this position is between $130,000-$170,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
