Desired Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Proficient in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Skilled at developing, implementing, and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Strong analytical, observation, and data-collection abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff
- Ready to adapt and integrate quickly into new environments
- Effective communication skills—both verbal and written
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for referred students across multiple school campuses
- Complete FBAs in accordance with district, state, and ethical guidelines
- Design and maintain individualized BIPs tailored to meet student needs
- Analyze behavioral data and track intervention effectiveness for ongoing improvements
- Provide support and training to teachers, aides, and families regarding strategies and best practices
- Participate in student support and IEP meetings as appropriate
- Remain flexible regarding hours and scheduling while core needs are determined
