About the Role:
The Agile Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by fostering agile methodologies and practices across teams. This position is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope, while continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and collaboration. The Agile Delivery Manager acts as a servant leader, removing impediments and facilitating communication between stakeholders, product owners, and development teams. By championing agile principles, this role drives organizational agility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, the Agile Delivery Manager ensures that project goals align with business objectives, delivering value to customers and stakeholders consistently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in agile project management or delivery management roles.
- Proven experience leading agile teams and facilitating agile ceremonies.
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent agile certification.
- Experience working in a scaled agile environment or with multiple agile teams simultaneously.
- Background in software development or IT project delivery.
- Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience driving organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach multiple agile teams to adopt and improve agile practices and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure effective team collaboration and delivery.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and define clear project goals and deliverables.
- Identify and remove obstacles that impede team progress and escalate issues when necessary to maintain project momentum.
- Track and report on project metrics, progress, and risks to senior management and stakeholders to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
