StubHub, the world's leading ticket marketplace, is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and innovative leader to join our team as Community Manager for StubHub in North America.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA

What You'll Do:

  • Represent StubHub publicly across TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, X, and other platforms, engaging directly with fans through comments, quote tweets, replies, and DMs to build a distinctive and trusted brand voice
  • Proactively monitor cultural conversations and viral trends, inserting StubHub into the discourse with timely, witty, and culturally fluent commentary that drives visibility and engagement
  • Identify emerging opportunities to create viral moments through community interactions, helping StubHub win share of voice and cultural relevance
  • Act as the first line of defense for brand reputation, spotting issues early, navigating sensitive conversations, and escalating complex situations to internal teams with speed and clarity
  • Partner closely with Customer Service, PR, and Social teams to resolve negative customer interactions, particularly on platforms like Reddit where thoughtful, high-stakes engagement is critical.
  • Develop and refine StubHub's community tone, personality, and response guidelines to ensure consistency, cultural relevance, and strategic impact
  • Build relationships with influential fans, creators, and community moderators to strengthen StubHub's presence in key cultural spaces.
  • Track community engagement, sentiment shifts, and cultural wins, surfacing insights to inform broader social, product, and marketing strategy

Who You Are:

  • Deeply plugged into internet culture, live events, and online communities, with sharp instincts for what will resonate and spread.
  • A strong, adaptable communicator who can drive massive engagement through a single comment and thoughtfully de-escalate complex customer conversations.
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent judgment on when to engage, when to escalate, and how to balance humor with responsibility.
  • Highly collaborative, working seamlessly across marketing, comms, and customer service teams.
  • Comfortable serving as the external voice of a major consumer brand.
  • 5–7 years of experience in community management, social media, comms, or a related field, ideally at a consumer brand with a large, active audience.
  • Demonstrated success building or embodying a distinctive online brand voice that resonates with communities.
  • Proven ability to drive viral engagement and cultural impact through organic community interactions on platforms like TikTok, Reddit, Instagram, and X.
  • Experience managing sensitive or high-stakes community situations and partnering cross-functionally to resolve them effectively.
  • Excellent writing skills with a versatile tone — from hilarious one-liners to thoughtful, empathetic responses.
  • Deep understanding of platform dynamics, emerging trends, and internet humor.
  • Portfolio Required: Candidates must submit examples of community interactions that demonstrate cultural fluency, creative voice, and thoughtful engagement.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub's total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
