- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Inspect machinery to identify issues before breakdowns occur
- Repair conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks, packaging machines, and refrigeration equipment
- Respond quickly to equipment downtime and emergency repairs
- Maintain maintenance logs and repair records
Food Warehouse Specific Duties
- Ensure equipment meets food safety and sanitation standards
- Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA safety regulations
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing machinery when needed
- Monitor refrigeration and temperature-controlled systems
- Help maintain compliance with FDA and warehouse safety requirements
