Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Field Service Technician role in Clackamas, OR. Key Responsibilities:
· Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues and implement effective solutions in the field.
· Perform routine preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and improve reliability.
· Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding service updates, timelines, and recommendations.
· Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
· Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry standards while working on-site.
· Travel to various customer locations as required, sometimes on short notice.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to resolve complex technical issues.
· Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies to ensure readiness for service calls.
· Promptly report any recurring issues, safety concerns, or opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
· Prior experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or a related technical role is preferred.
· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments, including outdoor and industrial settings.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
· Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime or weekends, as needed.
