Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Convent, Louisiana. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to provide technical support in both office and unique field environments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on role, addressing technical challenges and assisting users with hardware, software, and network issues.
Responsibilities:
• Provide prompt and detail-oriented technical support to resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, keyboards, and other peripherals.
• Handle password resets and troubleshoot user access problems with Active Directory.
• Manage and resolve ServiceNow tickets while also assisting walk-in users at the service desk.
• Travel between office locations on a weekly basis to deliver support services; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Occasionally work aboard boats, requiring physical fitness to navigate small stairwells and confined spaces.
• Ensure proper configuration and deployment of computer hardware and software.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Apple devices, Mac computers, and Android systems.
• Utilize Cisco and Citrix technologies to address network and connectivity issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing provided safety equipment such as boots, life jackets, and hard hats.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless support and service delivery across all sites.• Proven experience in technical support roles, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system or similar platforms.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and aboard boats; physical fitness is required.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, Apple devices, Android systems, and Mac computers.
• Experience with Cisco and Citrix technologies.
• Willingness to travel weekly between office sites.
• Commitment to safety standards and protocols while working in diverse environments.
