Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge MA

Monday - Friday 3 PM - 7 PM

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will greet staff and visitors, manage check-ins, support access control procedures, answer questions, and document incidents and requests with clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Control lobby access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and/or access control systems to help identify unusual activity and support a professional facility environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting security-related events per site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support coordination of deliveries, contractors, and visitor traffic.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Lift More Than 20 lbs - preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
