POSITION SUMMARY

Provide all duties as required as part of the Information Technology department to maintain and enhance systems support service in support of customer requirements and Integra’s goals and initiatives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Develop an understanding of our business model and the relation to our current data systems.
  • Maintain current applications with bug fixes and make enhancements as required.
  • Document initial design, bug fixes, and enhancements for applications.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing, improve existing computer systems, and suggest other possible solutions.
  • Study current information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required.
  • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system.
  • Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred; however, a combination of education and experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities and functions have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.

Experience: Experience in PL/SQL, Java, and Oracle Application development required.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office applications and other computer products and programs.
  • Proven understanding of database design concepts.
  • Must possess the ability to complete each of the following:
    1. Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
    2. Read, analyze, and interpret technical user/administration manuals on networks, personal computers, operating systems, or other manuals associate with job duties.
    3. Support additional languages such as Perl, Oracle Hyperion SQR.
    4. Effectively interface with other departments and management.
