Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP, with credentials in good standing
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt to both elementary and secondary student needs
- Familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and special education documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure optimal outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records, including data collection and timely documentation for IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input to the educational team
