Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Web Developer to support the maintenance and expansion of our clients environment. You will contribute to the development and support of custom web applications, including client-specific and other enterprise applications. As part of the team, you will work on web and mobile application design, content management, and business process management (BPM). You will also assist in service-oriented architecture (SOA), enterprise search services, data visualization, and the creation of metrics dashboards.

Responsibilities:
- Take initiative in an environment involving diverse sets of data, documents, and technologies.
- Work closely with clients to translate user requirements into a system requirement specification by learning and understanding their business processes, documenting business requirements, interpreting requirements, and assisting in the solution design and corresponding documentation.
- Participate on a high-functioning team delivering website design and maintenance services, web application maintenance and development support services, web user interface design and prototyping services, data modeling services, requirements gathering and documentation services, and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) design and maintenance services.
- Assist in the delivery of web application solutions utilizing modern web technologies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Clearance Level:
- Current or ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance is required. Note: To obtain a security clearance, you must be a US citizen and meet the 13 adjudicative guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in web development.
- Including experience working with:
- HTML/HTML5
- Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- JavaScript
- Ajax
- jQuery
- Bootstrap
- Responsive Web Design (RWD)
- Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) or other SQL-based experience
- Including experience working with:
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt on the fly.
- Ability to work with and extract knowledge from government mission partners.
- Ability to support multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to manage your own workload and schedule.
- Current CompTIA Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain it within two weeks of the start date.
- Substitution certifications for CompTIA Security+:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)Security
- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
- Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GISCSP)
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Certified Network Defender (CND)
- System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- Substitution certifications for CompTIA Security+:
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
- Experience working with:
- Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX)
- Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)
- Oracle SQL Developer
- Java, Eclipse, File Transfer Protocol (FTP)/Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
- Agile Development
- Graphic Design
- Experience with government and Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
- Ability to pick up new languages or technologies as needed.
