Associate Estate Planning Attorney

Evergreen Opportunity – Maryland Offices (Towson, Annapolis, Gaithersburg)
Full-Time | On-site
Compensation Range: $90,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience)

This is an evergreen opportunity. While this position may not be immediately open, Stouffer Legal is regularly expanding and is always interested in connecting with experienced estate planning attorneys for future openings across our Maryland offices. We have a proven track record of creating roles around exceptional talent.

About This Evergreen Opportunity

This posting is intended to build a pipeline of strong Associate Estate Planning Attorney candidates as we continue to grow. Attorneys who apply may be considered for future openings in Towson, Annapolis, or Gaithersburg as positions become available.

The Role

Associate Estate Planning Attorneys at Stouffer Legal focus on meeting with clients, understanding their goals, and recommending tailored estate planning solutions. You'll guide clients through the planning process and work closely with paralegals and support staff to ensure a smooth, high-quality client experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet with prospective clients to recommend appropriate estate planning solutions
- Guide clients through the full estate planning process
- Collaborate with paralegals to ensure timely and accurate drafting
- Maintain accurate client records
- Participate in team meetings and training
- Assist with professional development initiatives

Schedule & Work Environment

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Full-time, in-office role at a Maryland office
Client-facing role with up to six 90-minute meetings per day

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Strong communicator
- Comfortable leading client consultations
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Tech-savvy and collaborative
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

Requirements

- Juris Doctor and active Maryland law license
- At least two years of prior law firm experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to complete screenings
