Primary purpose: This role requires hands-on experience with siding materials, effective communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical & Trade Skills
- Proficient in siding installation techniques and industry best practices
- Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and layout guidelines
- Strong understanding of construction principles, siding materials, and repair methods
- Competent in performing measurements, markings, and layout planning
Problem-Solving & Initiative
- Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot installation issues independently
- Takes initiative to identify and complete tasks without prompting
- Able to adapt to changing job site needs and find solutions on the fly
- Willing to teach and support team members, promoting continuous improvement
Customer Service & Communication
- Communicates effectively and professionally with customers and subcontractors
- Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude on every job site
- Handles challenging client situations with patience and professionalism
Work Ethic & Dependability
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
- Maintains clean, organized job sites and work vehicles
- Reliable and punctual, consistently meets deadlines and expectations

Requirements:
Required:
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including inclement weather
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to read, interpret, and apply information from design drawings
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
- Committed to continuous learning and professional development
- Proactive problem-solver capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Highly self-motivated, focused, and consistently produces high-quality work

Strongly Preferred:
- Experience in dealing with residential installations, home renovations and an understanding of how to approach and deal with demanding clients
- Knowledge of siding materials & best practices
- Construction experience
