Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Dispatcher to coordinate customer requests, schedule deliveries or service calls, communicate with drivers and field personnel, and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and service requests professionally.
Schedule and dispatch drivers, technicians, or delivery personnel based on customer needs and operational priorities.
Coordinate daily routes, deliveries, pickups, and service appointments.
Communicate schedules, updates, delays, and special instructions to drivers and customers.
Monitor deliveries and service calls to ensure timely completion.
Resolve customer concerns, delivery issues, and scheduling conflicts.
Enter and update customer orders, delivery information, and service requests in company systems.
Maintain accurate records of dispatches, completed deliveries, cancellations, and customer communications.
Work closely with warehouse, operations, sales, and management teams.
Follow up with customers regarding order status and estimated arrival times.
Adjust schedules and routes when unexpected issues arise.
Maintain a high level of customer service while meeting operational deadlines.
Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1+ year of customer service, dispatch, logistics, transportation, or warehouse experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Comfortable handling multiple phone calls, requests, and priorities simultaneously.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn dispatch or scheduling software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
