Job Title: Cultivation Irrigation Specialist – Indoor Cannabis Cultivation

Our team is growing, and we are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Data Watering Specialist to help maintain optimal plant health and drive high-yield production through data-driven watering techniques.

Position Overview:
The Cultivation Irrigation Specialist will be responsible for managing the daily irrigation of cannabis plants based on precise environmental, substrate, and growth cycle data. This role combines hands-on plant care with meticulous data collection and analysis to ensure each crop receives tailored hydration for maximum quality and output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage daily watering schedules according to plant growth stages and environmental factors.
  • Utilize sensors, software, and manual testing to collect data on soil moisture, EC (electrical conductivity), pH, and temperature.
  • Analyze data to adjust irrigation volumes, timing, and nutrient delivery.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of watering activities, observations, and plant health status.
  • Collaborate closely with cultivation manager and teams to align watering strategies with overall crop plans.
  • Calibrate and maintain irrigation equipment, meters, and data logging tools.
  • Identify and escalate any early signs of overwatering, underwatering, or irrigation system issues.
  • Maintain compliance with all internal protocols and local regulations regarding cannabis cultivation.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in commercial cannabis cultivation, agriculture, or horticulture preferred.
  • Strong understanding of plant biology, irrigation techniques, and nutrient uptake.
  • Comfortable using data logging tools, spreadsheets, and cultivation software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Physical ability to work in indoor agricultural environments (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Experience with automated irrigation systems.
  • Familiarity with environmental control systems (e.g., Growlink/Aroya).
  • Certification in horticulture, agronomy, or related fields.
