Job Description
The Packer inspects, weighs, packages, and sorts medical molded plastic components, identifying defective products and completing production documentation. This role requires excellent manual dexterity for assembling small parts with hand tools, fixtures, and equipment in a clean room environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Inspect medical molded plastic components for defects.
- Weigh, package, and sort finished products according to requirements.
- Perform quality control checks and remove defective components.
- Complete production records and work order documentation.
- Use a computer or touchscreen to enter work order data.
- Work seated or standing for extended periods, depending on the machine operated.
- Occasionally move and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
