Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students’ growth as a Special Education Case Manager in a vibrant middle school environment. This opportunity runs through June 17th, 2027 (or until a direct hire is secured) and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing crucial support to 8th-grade learners in a setting where collaboration and compassion are valued.

What You’ll Bring:

Active Special Education teaching license for New Hampshire (NH SpEd License, 1900 Teaching Endorsement) preferred; consideration given to candidates eligible for a Board-approved letter of eligibility.
Experience or confidence in managing caseloads of middle school students, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and a variety of other learning differences.
Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), progress monitoring, and adaptive instructional strategies.
Strong communication skills for working with colleagues, families, and paraeducators.
Dependability, organization, and a passion for guiding young learners as they grow academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as case manager for approximately 20-30 8th-grade students receiving special education services.
Document, implement, and track IEPs while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate closely with other case managers and multidisciplinary teams to share caseloads and expertise.
Coordinate paraeducator support as appropriate, and maintain open communication with families and staff.
Support diverse learners using evidence-based interventions and classroom accommodations.
