  • Multi-Site Oversight & Travel: Coordinate and oversee operations remotely and on-site, including regular travel to Laredo, TX (approximately one week per month) to monitor job site progress, manage local subcontractors, and resolve site-specific issues.
  • Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Vet, hire, and manage trade partners, general contractors, and vendors; conduct regular performance reviews and enforce stringent quality control standards.
  • Budget & Financial Control: Manage project budgets, approve invoices, oversee change orders, track cost projections, and deliver accurate financial reporting to executive leadership.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety protocols across all active job sites.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and municipal authorities, leading regular progress meetings and maintaining transparent communication channels.
  • Quality Assurance & Safety: Implement rigorous quality assurance programs and champion a proactive safety culture to achieve zero-incident job sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in commercial construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering ground-up and interior fit-out commercial projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (equivalent field experience will be considered).
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel to Laredo, TX one week per month as a standard operational requirement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid), scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6), and estimating/purchasing platforms.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation skills, deep knowledge of procurement processes, strong mechanical/structural acumen, and the ability to troubleshoot complex field challenges independently.
