Provider Activation Consultant
Location: Remote (U.S. – any time zone)
Contract Length: 5 months (with possible 1 year extension based on performance)
Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000 - Full government benefits
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local time zone)
📄 Summary
The Provider Activation Consultant (PAC) plays a critical role in supporting the end-to-end integration of policies, directives, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to the Enterprise Platform Solution (EPS). The PAC ensures that operational workflows are compliant, digitally enabled, and aligned with EPS requirements across the enterprise.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Provider Research & Lead Management

Research provider data and manage inbound research requests

Generate opportunity leads and maintain accurate records in Salesforce

Automate lead workflows and ensure timely communication with providers

Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure data accuracy
Provider Analysis & Selection

Analyze VA site engagement and referral metrics

Use VA criteria to evaluate and prioritize providers

Document rationale for provider selection decisions
Provider Outreach & Engagement

Engage provider organizations to deliver program information

Gather feedback on workflows to inform process improvements
Provider Activation & Deactivation

Execute provider activation and deactivation in EPS
-
Maintain up-to-date documentation of provider network status
🧩 Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 4 years of experience in healthcare coordination or data analytics

Experience with Salesforce and data analytics

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

High school diploma required; higher education a plus

Active PIV holder preferred; must be clearable for VA Public Trust

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
