Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state credential/license as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working within a school environment preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and special education teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school community
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and provide clear, data-driven reports and recommendations
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Offer individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral success
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster supportive learning environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and contribute to intervention planning
- Deliver crisis intervention as needed and promote mental health awareness within the school community
- Maintain up-to-date, confidential student records in compliance with regulations and best practices
