Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our used car dealership. The ideal candidate will help customers select vehicles that fit their needs and budget, manage sales inquiries, and provide excellent service throughout the purchasing process.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and identify their vehicle preferences, needs, and budget.
- Present available vehicles and explain features, condition, pricing, and available vehicle history information.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations and coordinate test drives according to dealership policies.
- Respond promptly to phone calls, online inquiries, and social media leads.
- Follow up with prospective buyers and maintain accurate customer records in the dealership’s CRM.
- Discuss pricing and negotiate within management-approved guidelines.
- Coordinate with management and the finance team regarding financing applications, trade-ins, and purchase paperwork.
- Ensure customer information and sales documents are accurate and handled confidentially.
- Coordinate vehicle preparation and delivery, including explaining features to buyers.
- Work toward established sales goals and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Keep vehicle listings, pricing information, and inventory knowledge current.
- Follow dealership policies and applicable sales and consumer protection requirements.
