\n • Opportunity for future growth within a multi-site manufacturing organization.\n Key Responsibilities for the Plant Controller:\n \n • Lead plant-level accounting and financial reporting activities.\n
\n • Maintain and manage the standard cost system for materials, labor, and overhead.\n
\n • Analyze manufacturing, labor, inventory, and overhead variances and communicate findings to leadership.\n
\n • Oversee month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.\n
\n • Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory while ensuring accurate inventory valuation.\n
\n • Lead physical inventories, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.\n
\n • Partner with operations on cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.\n
\n • Develop cost models and financial analysis to support operational and capital investment decisions.\n
\n • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements.\n
\n • Drive continuous improvement within accounting, reporting, and inventory processes.\n Qualifications for the Plant Controller:\n \n • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\n
\n • 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.\n
\n • Strong cost accounting, standard costing, inventory control, and variance analysis experience.\n
\n • Experience with ERP systems, month-end close, and financial reporting.\n
\n • Stable work history with progressive responsibility.\n
\n • CPA or MBA preferred but not required.\n
