Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Large-Scale K-12 Projects - DC will:\n

    \n
  • Support Project Managers in scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and document control.
  • \n

  • Assist in procurement, RFI tracking, submittals, and managing change orders.
  • \n

  • Help ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with field and trade teams to support safe, efficient project execution.
  • \n

  • Communicate consistently with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • \n

The Assistant Project Manager - Large-Scale K-12 Projects - DC will have:\n

    \n
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
  • \n

  • Experience with new construction projects strongly preferred; renovation experience also considered.
  • \n

  • Previous work on public-sector or K-12 projects is a plus.
  • \n

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • \n

  • Familiarity with Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms.
  • \n

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).
  • \n
