Are you ready to grow your career at a values-driven, family first MSP? DTC is looking for their next L3 Systems Engineer. The L3 Systems Engineer will serve as the highest technical escalation point for help desk and field technicians within our MSP environment. This is a remote or hybrid role.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the final escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams, resolving complex technical incidents across infrastructure layers (network, compute, storage, applications, end-user systems).

  • Monitor client environments for potential issues, perform proactive system maintenance, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.

  • Support the execution of technical projects alongside Senior Engineers.

  • Clearly communicate technical findings and resolutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients.

Skills You'll Need:

  • MSP and dental industry experience required

  • 5+ years in IT systems administration or advanced support roles, with 2+ years in a Tier 3 escalation-level position.

  • Experience with some or all of the following: X-ray sensors, intra-oral cameras, dental PMS, imaging software, PANO and CBCT 3-D imaging, VAtech, Sidexis, OpenDental, Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Henry Schein One, Vyne, Schick Sensor

  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and configurations.

  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms.

  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

  • Experience with RMM and MDM platforms.

  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery tools (Veeam, Datto).

  • Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash) for diagnostics and automation.

  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency incidents outside normal business hours as part of the leadership-level support structure.
