Purpose
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine repairs and maintenance of building equipment, machinery, and facility grounds of RegenTX facilities and other duties as required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain general building equipment
- Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property
- Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repairs activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, parking lot/sidewalk cleanup, clear drain stoppages, lighting
- Perform custodial duties as needed which may include sweeping, gathering trash, empty trash receptacles, and landscaping
- Assist with emergency setup and response in coordination with the management team
- Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels, records, files, material safety data sheets, supplies, equipment and tools
- Assist in the setting up of events and install/take-down decorations
- Move furniture or cubicles as needed to support office and equipment moves
- Perform daily cleaning throughout the facility
- Engage in training and continuing education to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work safely
- Records readings taken from gauges on machinery and equipment, and documents and records discrepancies of readings
- Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings
- Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary

Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required from an accredited institution
- Valid drivers license required
- At least two years of experience in maintenance or related field required
- Clearance of favorable background investigation required
