Responsibilities

- Lead indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax returns.
- Oversee indirect tax audits and resolve related issues.
- Advise on the tax treatment of bids, purchases, billings, contracts, and exemptions.
- Partner with accounting and operating teams on tax matters.
- Monitor tax law changes, improve processes, and support the tax integration of acquired businesses.

Qualifications

- 15+ years of indirect tax experience, including substantial U.S. sales and use tax experience.
- Experience applying sales and use tax rules to construction operations.
- Leadership experience at the Senior Manager or Director level with compliance, audits, and taxability matters.
- Strong communication skills across tax, finance, and operating teams.
- Ability to travel to other locations at least one week a month.
