Job SummaryWe are seeking a hard-working and friendly Merchandiser to join the team. As a Merchandiser, you will monitor the levels of inventory in our store and maintain appropriate inventory levels. You will increase sales by ensuring we always have sufficient levels of the products our customer's desire. Responsibilities&nbsp;

<li>Develop and plan merchandising strategies for the store</li>
<li>Forecast consumer trends and identify preferences of our customers</li>
<li>Research supplier options, taking into consideration prices, quality, etc. to determine the best fit for our retail store.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Monitor the popularity of existing products&nbsp;</li>
<li>Negotiate details of sales with suppliers to ensure the best deals for the store</li>
<li>Report on sales, budgets, and customer satisfaction</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in merchandising is preferred</li>
<li>Understanding best practices in customer service and sales</li>
<li>Understanding of effective negotiation skills</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and willingness to work well with supervisor and coworkers in a team environment</li>
