Position Overview:
We are seeking a joyful and hard working individual to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and find satisfaction in completing repetitive tasks with ease and detail. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining high levels of productivity and organization.

Job Details:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging products efficiently and accurately, ensuring they meet quality standards before shipment. In addition this role will assist in the shipping duties of pulling orders, checking orders for accuracy, and choosing appropriate sized packaging for orders as needed. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high levels of productivity and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Package, label, and count products according to company guidelines
Inspect items for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packaging
Operate packing machines and other warehouse equipment safely
Maintain accurate records of packaged goods and inventory
Ensure packaging materials are stocked and available for use
Accurately read pick slips and pull appropriate items from warehouse pick area
Check orders for accuracy utilizing computer scanners
Choosing appropriate package size and style based on order size and weight
Follow safety and quality standards to ensure a clean and organized workspace
Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed
Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals

Requirements:

Ability to establish priorities and multi-task

Excellent organizational skills
Good computer skills
Detail-oriented
The strength to safely lift 40 pounds and endurance to stand and or sit for 3-4 hours at a time
Self-motivated and takes initiative
Encouraging, team-oriented attitude
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience in a warehouse, packaging, or manufacturing environment (preferred)
Flexibility to work seasonal overtime or additional shifts as needed
