Caregiver PCA CNA - Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities
Job Description
Job Description
We are looking for dependable caregivers with consistent availability who want to work.
We have a strong need for part-time caregivers, as well as full-time opportunities for experienced caregivers who can offer broader flexibility.
Our biggest need is not necessarily someone available Monday–Friday from 8–5. We need caregivers who can help cover the times our clients need care.
What Our Schedules Look Like
Depending on your availability, your schedule may include:
- Early morning visits
- Morning and daytime visits
- Afternoon and evening care
- Longer 8–12 hour shifts
- Rotating or reoccurring weekend visits
- Short ongoing hygiene visits
- A combination of several clients to create consistent weekly hours
Short hygiene visits are paid per visit rather than hourly. These can be a good fit for caregivers looking to add consistent morning, evening, or weekend work to their schedule.
You do not need unlimited availability. You do need availability you can consistently commit to.
We are looking for caregivers who:
- Show up when they say they will
- Maintain consistent weekly availability
- Respond to scheduling communications
- Are comfortable working with more than one client
- Understand that home care schedules sometimes change
- Are willing and able to work mornings, evenings or weekends (rotating weekend) not only traditional business hours
- Take pride in their work without needing constant supervision
- Communicate professionally with clients, families and the office
- Are comfortable learning new skills
- Accept coaching and feedback professionally
- Want steady work and are willing to help us build a schedule around their availability
- Understand that working in home care means serving the needs of the client not choosing only the easiest assignments
You May Not Be a Good Fit If
- You are only available during traditional "business hours"
- Your availability changes from week to week
- You frequently call out or arrive late
- You only want one specific client or client type
- You routinely decline assignments because of location, pets, personal-care needs or client preference
- You are looking exclusively for companion-only assignments
- You are difficult to reach when scheduled or available
- You apply for full-time work but are only available during a narrow window
Part-Time Caregivers Are Important to Our Team! Not everyone needs or wants 40 hours.
If you can consistently give us two mornings, three afternoons, weekends, several short visits, or another dependable block of availability each week, we want to hear from you.
Consistency matters more than having completely open availability.
Full-Time Opportunities
Caregivers seeking 32–40+ hours should have broader availability and be comfortable working with multiple clients.
A limited number of highly experienced caregivers may qualify for our Full Time Guaranteed Hours Program. In this role, we guarantee the hours and the caregiver provides the flexibility needed to work across different clients, schedules and assignments.
Basic Requirements
You must have:
- Caregiving, PCA or CNA experience (verifiable)
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to travel approximately 30 minutes from Clayton for assignments
- Ability and willingness to provide hands-on personal care
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to use mobile scheduling and documentation apps
- Ability to meet North Carolina background-check and employment requirements
CNA certification is preferred for some assignments but is not required for every caregiver position.
Pay: $15–$18/hour for hourly assignments based on experience, skills and position. Short hygiene visits are compensated at a set per-visit rate.
When you apply, please tell us exactly what days and times you can consistently work each week.
