Central Coast Transport – Converse, TX Central Coast Transport is seeking an experienced Safety & Compliance Coordinator to manage driver safety and DOT compliance for our trucking operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and review Samsara ELD logs and ensure compliance with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
- Review and address log violations and driver safety events
- Monitor Samsara safety alerts (speeding, harsh braking, unsafe driving events)
- Investigate and manage accidents and safety incidents
- Maintain Driver Qualification Files (DQ files) and compliance documentation
- Conduct driver safety orientation and ELD training for new drivers
- Assist with driver recruiting and onboarding
- Work with management to maintain strong safety standards and DOT compliance
Requirements
- Experience in trucking safety, compliance, or fleet safety management
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service
- Experience using ELD systems (Samsara preferred)
- Experience handling driver accidents and safety investigations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
