Job DescriptionResource MFG is looking for Fresh Cut Production workers and & Forklift Associates in Warrendale, PA
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule for Forklift:
- Sunday through Friday
- Off Saturday and one weekday (schedule may vary)
- Start Time: 5:30 PM
- Shift Length: Approximately 9-10 hours, or until work is completed
Schedule for Fresh Cut:
- Monday-Friday
- Start time: 8:00 AM
- End time: Typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, depending on production needs
Position Overview
ResourceMFG is seeking reliable and hardworking associates for a combined Fresh Cut Production and Forklift role in Warrendale, PA. This position supports both food production operations and warehouse logistics activities within a refrigerated environment. Associates will process fresh produce, operate material handling equipment, move inventory, and help ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on schedule.
Essential Responsibilities Production Duties
- Process fresh-cut vegetables and food products according to production schedules and customer orders
- Cut, portion, package, label, and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain product quality, freshness, and food safety standards
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitary
- Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures
Warehouse & Forklift Duties
- Receive and properly store inbound produce using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation
- Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment
- Stock product in designated warehouse locations
- Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, order picking, and material movement
- Remove empty pallets, shrink wrap, and debris from work areas
- Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
- Perform routine warehouse cleaning and sanitation duties
- Support additional warehouse and distribution functions as assigned
Work Environment
- Refrigerated facility maintained between 34°ree;F and 40°ree;F year-round
- Frequent exposure to water, moisture, and cold temperatures
- Fast-paced production and warehouse environment
- Must wear steel-toe, composite-toe, or safety-rated slip-resistant and water-resistant footwear
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, production, food manufacturing, packaging, or forklift experience preferred
- 2-3 years of warehouse experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment
- Ability to work in cold and wet conditions for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
