Job Details
- Local driving position
- Deliver rail containers from the terminal to customer locations
- Operate within a 250-mile radius of the terminal
- No-touch freight
- Mix of drop-and-hook and live load/unload freight
- Pick up empty and loaded containers from customer locations
- Return containers to the terminal for rail transport across the country
- Consistent freight volume and daily operations
Equipment
- Automatic day cab tractors
- Slip seat operation
- Modern, well-maintained equipment
- Trucks remain at the terminal during time off
- No smoking permitted in company equipment
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire
- Hazmat fingerprinting costs reimbursed after 60 days on the account
- Strong safety record
- Professional and dependable work ethic
- Ability to operate efficiently in an intermodal environment
