Position Overview
As the leading healthcare provider in Northeast Tennessee, we are excited to invite applications for a Board Certified/Board Eligible, Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon. This role is set in the picturesque Appalachian Mountains, allowing you to both work and enjoy life in a charming university town. You will join a distinguished team of fellowship-trained Orthopedic Traumatologists in Johnson City, TN, serving a population of 1.3 million in the Tri-Cities area.
About Johnson City Medical Center
Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC) is a 445-bed Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering a full range of specialties including Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Oncology, Radiology, Emergency Medicine, and OBGYN.
Key Highlights of the Position
- Employment Status: Employed position
- Team: Join a group of 4 fellowship-trained Orthopedic Traumatologists
- Call Schedule: 1:5 rotation
- Education: Involvement with the East Tennessee State University Orthopedic Residency Program
- Compensation: Highly competitive salary with a base plus quality bonuses and benefits
- Clinic Location: Situated in the Medical Office Building within the hospital, alongside other Neuroscience specialties such as Neuroendovascular, Neurosurgery, Neurohospitalist, and Orthopedic Hand Surgery
- Facilities: X-Ray services available in the office
