Stylists LOVE working at Sharkey's because we are always BUSY and our staff love the other co-workers. We are the busiest salon for kids in all of Florida (and growing to over 1100 employees & stylists in 2025) and offer a fun environment with great co-workers, owners that care, above average tips, and a salon with no drama. We treat everyone like family, which is why many of our stylists have been with us for over 10 & 15+ years!

Our company is based out of Westport, CT with one of our biggest markets here in Florida!

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in a variety of beauty services, including hair styling and enjoys working with Children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide beauty services such as hair styling, cutting, and manicures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Consult with clients to determine their needs and preferences.
• Advise clients on the best products and services for their needs.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

JOB DESCRIPTION: Must have an upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettable fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our client's children and parents. Ability to listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction. Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow-drying, and styling.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations. Ensure all treatments meet high-quality standards. Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends. Maintain cleanliness of the salon. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere. Ability to work with kids.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current Cosmetology license for this state. Minimum one-year experience. Able to work weekends.
