Position Details
Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Pay: $33.65 - $36.06 per hour
Schedule: normal business hours (7 am-4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm Monday-Friday_
Type: Contract position with strong potential for permanent hire
What You'll Do
- Support and enhance workplace safety and environmental health programs
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance assessments
- Deliver safety training and assist with employee onboarding
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action initiatives
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate safety certifications and regulatory requirements
- Assist with workers' compensation and return-to-work programs
- Partner with managers and employees to foster a proactive safety culture
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of EHS, workplace safety, environmental, or compliance experience OR a degree in a related field
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience conducting safety audits, training, or incident investigations is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
