    Position Overview
    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer to join our OneTree team. This position focuses on developing and optimizing firmware for embedded server platforms, with an emphasis on utilizing OpenBMC and Linux. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing features that enhance the performance and reliability of our products.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems using OpenBMC and Linux.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement feature requirements.
  • Conduct hardware interaction and debugging of firmware on embedded server platforms.
  • Participate in board bring-up activities and ensure firmware compatibility with various hardware components.
  • Implement continuous integration processes for firmware development and testing.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of embedded systems and software development processes.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and version control practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
  • Proficient in C++ programming and experience with U-Boot.
  • Strong knowledge of OpenBMC and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Linux kernel development and debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with hardware protocols such as I2C, SPI, PCIe, and UART.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
