Job Title: Forklift Mechanic
Location: Tomball, TX
Job Type: Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Mechanic to join our team in the Tomball area. This individual will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostic work, repairs, and tire maintenance and installation on a variety of forklifts and related equipment. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance services on forklifts and related equipment.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs.
- Complete mechanical repairs including engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Install tires replacement, and alignment as needed.
- Accurately document service work and communicate with customers and team members.
- Maintain tools, equipment, work van and a clean work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or similar role in heavy equipment repair.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
