Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to patrol hospital and campus grounds, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, patients, and property. This is a critical role that requires vigilance, professionalism, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol hospital and surrounding areas to prevent theft, vandalism, fires, and respond to security needs.
• Ensure only authorized personnel are admitted onto premises.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs and write clear, concise reports.
• Respond promptly to burglary, fire, panic, equipment alarms, and code alerts.
• Report safety, fire, and security hazards discovered during routine patrols and inspections.
• Monitor and maintain CCTV, two-way radio systems, and alarm systems.
• Maintain all issued security equipment in proper working condition.
• Prepare reports related to crime, incidents, and lost-and-found items.
• Patrol Pacific University during off-hours and provide backup as required by service contracts.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in law enforcement and/or security.
• DPSST certification required.
• Must wear bullet-proof vest while on duty.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
