Executive Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Integration Architect to design and implement enterprise-grade cloud integration solutions for Wallenius Wilhelmsen. This role is pivotal in driving our integration strategy across multiple systems, ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable communication between cloud-based and on-premises applications.
- The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, specifically focusing on API management, serverless architecture, and B2B EDI standards.
Location: Parsippany, NJ (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Approx)
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of secure integration solutions using Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
- Strategy & Patterns: Define and enforce integration patterns (Pub-Sub, Request-Reply, Async messaging) and best practices for real-time and event-driven architectures.
- API Management: Develop and enforce API gateway strategies, including routing, throttling, and complex transformations using APIM policies and C#.
- EDI & B2B Integration: Design and implement EDI workflows (X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, SFTP) leveraging Azure Integration Accounts.
- Technical Leadership: Provide high-level technical guidance to developers and DevOps teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise security and governance standards.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive solution architecture diagrams, interface contracts, and operational runbooks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in system integration and solution architecture; minimum 3 years dedicated to Azure Integration Services.
- Azure Expertise: Mastery of APIM, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Service Bus.
- Development: Strong proficiency in C# and JavaScript for custom policy development, data transformation logic, and serverless functions.
- Standards & Protocols: Expertise in REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth2, and JWT. Deep understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT).
- DevOps: Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform).
- Education/Certification: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate certifications are highly preferred.
