We are seeking a highly motivated Network Support Consultant to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects—ranging from support from our Brookfield, CT office to on-site client visits—while supporting business-critical IT environments.
What You’ll Do
As a Network Support Consultant, you will:

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows-based PCs and servers.

Provide IT support to clients both from our Brookfield, CT office and on-site at client locations.

Plan, install, configure, and test PC and server hardware, software, LAN/WAN networks, and system management tools.

Monitor and maintain system performance, including analysis and tuning.

Define, document, and support operational policies and procedures.

Conduct system load and stress testing.

Escalate complex issues to vendors and collaborate on solutions.

Recommend and implement system upgrades to optimize client environments.

Develop, test, evaluate, and deploy software enhancements.

Stay current with industry knowledge by engaging in ongoing training, certifications, and professional development.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft certifications required) or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network support.

Strong knowledge of system administration, networking, and troubleshooting in Windows environments.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to new challenges, and take ownership of client success.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds (for occasional hardware setup and installation).
Preferred Skills (nice to have):

LAN/WAN administration, proxy server configuration, and network performance tuning.

Experience with system monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

Familiarity with compliance-focused IT environments (e.g., HIPAA, finance).
