We are seeking a highly motivated Network Support Consultant to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects—ranging from support from our Brookfield, CT office to on-site client visits—while supporting business-critical IT environments.

What You’ll Do

As a Network Support Consultant, you will:

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows-based PCs and servers.

• Provide IT support to clients both from our Brookfield, CT office and on-site at client locations.

• Plan, install, configure, and test PC and server hardware, software, LAN/WAN networks, and system management tools.

• Monitor and maintain system performance, including analysis and tuning.

• Define, document, and support operational policies and procedures.

• Conduct system load and stress testing.

• Escalate complex issues to vendors and collaborate on solutions.

• Recommend and implement system upgrades to optimize client environments.

• Develop, test, evaluate, and deploy software enhancements.

• Stay current with industry knowledge by engaging in ongoing training, certifications, and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft certifications required) or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network support.

• Strong knowledge of system administration, networking, and troubleshooting in Windows environments.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to new challenges, and take ownership of client success.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds (for occasional hardware setup and installation).

Preferred Skills (nice to have):

• LAN/WAN administration, proxy server configuration, and network performance tuning.

• Experience with system monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Familiarity with compliance-focused IT environments (e.g., HIPAA, finance).
