We are hiring a Director of Social Media - TikTok to join our team in Howell, NJ. The Director of Social Media - TikTok will lead TikTok shop growth, launch new brand strategies, manage creators, and oversee sales performance. This role is ideal for someone who has launched brands on TikTok, understands TikTok Shop, and thrives in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.

About the Role

You will own the full TikTok ecosystem for our consumer product brands, with a primary focus on our flagship fitness and wellness line. This includes overseeing content strategy, creator management, TikTok Shop operations, trend analysis, and team leadership. You will drive growth, increase GMV, and develop repeatable systems for scaling TikTok revenue.

This is a full-time, on-site or hybrid position in Howell, NJ with weekly or biweekly in-office presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead TikTok strategy for brand growth, engagement, and TikTok Shop sales

  • Cold-launch and scale brands on TikTok with proven frameworks

  • Oversee 3 direct reports (Affiliate Manager, TikTok Content Strategist, Shop Operations Manager)

  • Manage creator onboarding, communication, and performance tracking

  • Oversee weekly content calendars, trend monitoring, and content performance

  • Drive GMV, optimize creator rewards, and develop scalable sales processes

  • Manage sample inventory logistics for creators and affiliates

  • Collaborate with eCommerce and sales leadership to forecast sales and inventory needs

  • Conduct weekly and monthly performance reviews, analytics, and reporting

  • Build viral content strategies and generate high-impact hashtags each quarter

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on TikTok Shop experience

  • Proven success launching or scaling brands on TikTok (startup experience preferred)

  • Ability to grow follower count, engagement, and viral reach

  • Experience managing creators, influencers, or UGC teams

  • Strong understanding of TikTok algorithms, trends, and social commerce

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience overseeing small teams or outsourced teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of generating high GMV on TikTok Shop

  • Experience in consumer products, fitness/wellness, DTC, or eCommerce

  • Experience working with offshore or remote teams

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with performance dashboards
