Our client, a well-established mid-sized law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least five years of business litigation experience. This role involves supporting complex litigation matters, drafting key legal filings, and participating in hearings, negotiations, and trial preparation.
This opportunity is suited for an attorney interested in developing a long-term practice within a collaborative firm environment while taking on meaningful responsibility for client matters and litigation strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advisement

Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other litigation-related documents

Assist with case preparation for hearings, settlement negotiations, and trials

Manage aspects of client matters under the supervision of senior attorneys

Contribute to litigation strategy through strong research, writing, and analytical work
Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Active membership in a U.S. state bar (California licensure required)

Minimum of 5 years of business litigation experience in private practice

Strong working knowledge of applicable civil procedure and evidence rules

Experience handling client matters with increasing responsibility

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Interest in building a long-term career within a mid-sized law firm environment

Compensation & Work Model

Base Salary: $145,000 – $165,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
